Ugadhi 2023 Event Public Announcement

Thanks to your unwavering support, the Sobhakritu Nama Ugadi festival organized by TCAF was a resounding success. These celebrations hold immense value in introducing our rich culture and traditions to our children and bringing a sense of joy to those of us who are far away from our homeland.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the participants who showcased their talent in various cultural activities during this event. A special mention goes to the incredible singers whose melodious performances enthralled us all. The enthusiasm displayed by the children was truly inspiring.

As expatriates, many of us have concerns regarding our children’s education. Should they pursue education in English medium or the local language? What does the English education system in Finland entail? These questions often arise when we first arrive. We express our gratitude to the parents, students, and educators who actively participated in the panel discussion program organized by TCAF, which provided valuable insights and answers to these crucial queries. Based on your positive feedback, TCAF has decided to continue hosting such informative discussions in the future.

The Tambola game held during the Ugadi celebration saw enthusiastic participation from everyone. TCAF extends warm congratulations to the Madamshetty family, who emerged as the winners and secured the gold medal in this exciting game.

We would like to express our special appreciation to the families who graciously arranged Prasadam (devotional offering) and mouth-watering food for all of us. A heartfelt thanks also goes out to our caterer, South Indian-Kitchen.

Lastly, we eagerly anticipate our next gathering on October 28th for the Dussehra celebration. Stay tuned for further updates and detailed information about this upcoming event, which will be shared in the days to come.
